Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Tubia (Canadian actor) is well-known for her roles in the fantasy show of Freeform Shadowhunters and Venevision television series Cosita linda e Voltea to be enamored. She is also a dancer and also models. A Montreal native, she grew in Texas and was always interested in dancing. As a little girl, she began training in various forms of dance. At the age 15 she took part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010, she began her acting career as a receptionist for an episode of Telemundo's t l novela Aurora. She also starred in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter earned her recognition at her fellow actors at the Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
