Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actor who is best known for the fantasy television show Shadowhunters on Freeform in addition to Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que te Enamores. Other talents she has include being a successful model and dancer. She was born in Montreal She was raised in Texas. Her entire life she has had a passion for performance. When she was a young girl, she began training in different forms of dancing. When she was 15 years old, she started participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when, in 2008 she was an contestant on Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty competition. She began acting in 2010 in a role as a receptionist on the Telemundo episode. In 2015, she was in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love. For her performance as Shadowhunters, Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
