Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman. She is the owner and the president of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss was born in California and was raised as part of a wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was an investor in real estate and went on to own the Lakers along with various other sports organizations. Her parents divorced in 1972. broke up in divorce and she was left feeling emotionally lost. As she turned 19 old, she joined the family business as the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then she created the Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. Before she became vice president of the Lakers She was also the president of Great Western Forum. Buss was the father of her deceased father in 2013 as did the Lakers were inherited from him by her as well as five of her siblings through an inheritance trust. Each sibling had equally many votes. She was named president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-founder of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion that is based within Los Angeles.
